2024 ATP Tennis Predictions

The off-season is here and players are preparing for 2024. Here are our 2024 ATP Tennis Predictions.

When you think about the 2024 ATP Tennis Predictions, you cannot disregard the possibility that Novak Djokovic will dominate another season on the tour. He is still the player to beat and is surely going to add at least one more Grand Slam title to his record.

However, the most important title for Djokovic is chasing the Olympic Gold. It is the one title eluding him. Can he pull it off this year? We have seen moments in the past where the pressure gets to him, which is rare for such a mental beast, so it is not a sure bet.

My prediction is that he wants it a bit too much and cannot quite take the Gold. You might remember what happened to him in 2020, where he even lost the Bronze medal match to Carreno Busta.

I will predict the Australian Open title will go to Djokovic, but that is the one Grand Slam title he wins in 2024.

French Open

If Djokovic wins the Australian Open for the tenth time, who gets the Coupe des Mousquetaires in 2024? Well, despite being gone for a year due to injury, Rafael Nadal is back in 2024 for perhaps his final season. He is chasing his 15th French Open title and despite Djokovic, Alcaraz and other young players coming, he is still one of the favorites.

I will pick Nadal to win his final Grand Slam trophy at the French Open and finish his career with a well-deserved bang. Maybe this turns out to be wishful thinking, but he definitely has a chance.

Wimbledon

Last year’s Wimbledon final was a true classic between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Carlos Alcaraz surprised everyone by being the cooler player under pressure and managed to win in five nerve-wracking sets.

Once you have gotten confidence on the grass, you become a force. Alcaraz already has two Grand Slam titles and is destined for great things. I think his two biggest obstacles for Wimbledon 2024 is Djokovic and Sinner, but I believe he can use the belief from 2023 to repeat the title in 2024.

Prediction: Alcaraz to win Wimbledon 2024

US Open

The US Open is the most “open” Grand Slam in the way that it is difficult to predict. Djokovic won in 2023, but he has struggled the most in New York. I think it is time for Jannik Sinner to break through on the Grand Slam stage and the US Open should suit him well. He is usually strong in the later stages of the season and winning the Davis Cup and reaching the final of the ATP Finals in 2023 was the confidence booster he needed.

Prediction: Jannik Sinner to win US Open 2024.
